Actor and GLAAD Vito Russo Award honoree Wilson Cruz and GLAAD Chief Communications Officer Rich Ferraro presented the cast of Company with their GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Broadway Production.

GLAAD, the world’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, held the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City last night where a host of LGBTQ notables and allies called on the community to fight back against growing anti-LGBTQ attacks, particularly on LGBTQ youth and transgender Americans. GLAAD also announced recipients for 16 of this year’s 30 categories for the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Additional categories were announced in Los Angeles on April 2 and a full list is available below.

A quarter century ago, Jonathan Larson's groundbreaking musical, RENT, opened at New York Theatre Workshop. From its humble beginnings at NYTW, this rock musical went on to shape a generation. The cast of Star Trek: Discovery recently filmed a parody of Seasons of Love from Rent. The video is led by original Rent cast member Anthony Rapp, who can also be seen in the Star Trek series.

CBS All Access today revealed the official trailer and key art for the highly anticipated second season of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY and announced that the second season will be extended to 14 episodes, from the previously announced 13.

During New York Comic-Con, STAR TREK: DISCOVERY executive producer Alex Kurtzman revealed that the highly anticipated second season of the series will launch Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, exclusively on CBS All Access in the United States. During the panel with cast and executive producers at Madison Square Garden, the official season two New York Comic-Con trailer debuted, and fans were given a first look at STAR TREK: DISCOVERY's Spock, played by Ethan Peck; Number One, played by Rebecca Romijn; and Section 31's newest recruit, Philippa Georgiou, played by Michelle Yeoh.

For its 22nd consecutive year, the west coast Actors Fund celebrated Broadway's Biggest Night at their 22nd Annual Tony Awards® Viewing Party on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA. Mel B, Spice Girl and a new judge on America's Got Talent, presented international pop star Adam Lambert with the Davidson/Valentini Award Saturday night, May 11th, at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco. Lambert was also the co-recipient of the award for Outstanding Music Artist for his albumTrespassing; he tied with Frank Ocean for Ocean's debut album Channel Orange.
