This spring, The Citadel invites audiences to follow the Yellow Brick Road as it brings The Wizard of Oz to life in a magical new stage production at the Shoctor Theatre.

The 1939 movie musical The Wizard of Oz is set to return to broadcast television later this year, courtesy of classic network MeTV. This will mark the first time the film has been seen on linear television since its most recent CBS broadcast on May 9, 1998.

For years, I'd written off THE WIZ. My only prior experience with the show had been a disappointing production that left me confused about why the original had swept the Tony Awards in 1975, winning Best Musical and Best Original Score among other honors.

Entr'Acte Theatrix is set to stage THE WIZARD OF OZ at the William G. Skaff Center in West Palm Beach from February 26 to March 14. This production, based on the beloved 1939 film, features classic songs and timeless characters, offering a nostalgic experience for audiences.

bergenPAC will present a family theatre series featuring Curious George: The Golden Meatball, Wizard of Oz on Ice, and The Cat in the Hat. The productions will run between February and March and are designed for audiences of all ages.

Wicked songwriter Stephen Schwartz, along with book writer Winnie Holzman, is currently exploring ideas for a Wicked spin-off project. It would not be a direct sequel to the hit musical and films.
