The Capitol Theatre Port Hope, has revealed the cast members for the four mainstage productions of the Where Our Stories Begin summer season featuring Come From Away and more.

Charles M. Schulz's 'Peanuts' characters will take the stage in 'YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN' at Gateway Playhouse, running from February 20 to March 1. This family-friendly musical kicks off the all-musical MainStage Season at the Gateway of Somers Point.

Artistic Director Rob Kempson has announced the Capitol Theatre’s 2026 season, Where Our Stories Begin, featuring ten Canadian productions, five world premieres, and three musicals across its Mainstage, Second Stage, and Music Lovers’ Series.

Few realize that when reading a Peanuts comic strip, watching a television show based on the writings of Charles M. Schulz, or seeing the theatrical YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, a version of which is now on stage at Porthouse Theatre, that they are being exposed to the author’s religious sensibility.

An evening with Robbie Rozelle is an evening well-spent. It was a personal and revealing evening filled with songs and laughter.

Eastbound Theatre will present “You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” a musical based on the beloved Charles M. Schulz comic strip “Peanuts” and written by Clark Gesner, Michael Mayer and Andrew Lippa.

It’s such a joy to see familiar Peanuts characters some to life. Charlie Brown (Caleb Stiffler) is lovable as always. Linus (Ally Ferrer) has his important security blanket at all times. Lucy (Kristen Demers) is loud and opinionated. Sally Brown (Ruby Maghoney) is the opposite of her brother in every way. Snoopy (Skye Williams) is imaginative and loved by all. Schroeder (Mariah Banke) plays the piano and loves Beethoven. Marcie and Woodstock (Mirada Snyder) round out the list of characters.
