The brilliant Tony Award nominee CHRISTIANE NOLL, who closes theCOACHELLA VALLEY REPERTORY 2025 SUMMER CABARET SERIES on July 31, has been announced to portray the iconic role of Mother Abbess (“Climb Every Mountain”)in Concord Theatricals and NETworks Presentations upcoming national tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music.

Alix Korey is an outstanding entertainer. It’s no wonder that an appreciative audience (including me) stood up as one to acknowledge your performance at the Cabaret season opener at CV Rep, Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The show was a wonderful 75-minute break from the ordinary. And it is always a delight to see Wayne Abravanel at the piano.

COACHELLA VALLEY REPERTORY announces its 2023 SUMMER CABARET SERIES, presented in CVRep's casual, intimate setting every Thursday evening from May 4 through August 24. Each performer is a captivating storyteller, using music, personal experiences, and passions to take audiences on memorable journeys.

GMHC will honor Broadway legend and award-winning performer André De Shields with the 2023 Howard Ashman Award for his advocacy and activism for people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS, as well as LGBTQ+ communities.

Michael Childers “One Night Only' celebrates its 16th year in the desert with “New York, New York” on November 9, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. This year’s theme is all about New York in all its glory from Harlem and the Cotton Club to Broadway and 42nd Street to Studio 54. All proceeds benefit The Barbara Sinatra Children's Foundation. Once again the creative team is helmed by director Scott Coulter and musical director Todd Schroeder. Linda Kahn is returning to The Laurie Beechman Theatre with her critically acclaimed solo cabaret debut show, “Say Yes!” on Sunday, September 18 at 4 pm and Saturday, October 22 at 7 pm. The show was previously performed at The Triad Theater last November and The Laurie Beechman Theatre in February and May. 

Linda Kahn will return to the Laurie Beechman Theatre in her Jeff Harnar-helmed solo show debut SAY YES! for two dates in September and October.

On Wednesday, August 3rd at 7:30 P.M. EST, Charles Kirsch, the 14-year-old host of hit theater podcast Backstage Babble, will join forces with non-profit dance organization Dancers Over 40 to present a fun and fabulous night of Broadway trivia, available on YouTube.
