Arlene Phillips is a show business legend and a household name. Since creating the revolutionary dance group Hot Gossip, Arlene has gone on to work with superstars from across the world of entertainment and she has been nominated for Emmy, Tony and Laurence Olivier awards.

Alongside Grease, Arlene has choreographed shows such as Starlight Express, Wizard of Oz, Joseph, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Sound of Music, We Will Rock You, Grease, Flashdance. As a director, she has worked on Saturday Night Fever, Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance, the Manchester XVII Commonwealth Games, and the concert tour of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber which featured theatre legends such as Sarah Brightman, Elaine Paige, Michael Ball and Michael Crawford.

Outside of her work in theatre, Arlene has choreographed Hollywood films including 'Annie' directed by John Huston, Monty Python's 'The Meaning of Life', 'Highlander' starring Sean Connery, and Legend directed by Ridley Scott and starring Tom Cruise. Her choreography can be seen in many iconic music videos for international pop stars such as Whitney Houston, Elton John, Queen, Robbie Williams, Diana Ross, Duran Duran, Donna Summer, Cliff Richard, Bee Gees, Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner. Her insightful expertise has been broadcast to millions in her role as a TV judge on hit shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, So You Think You Can Dance and Strictly Dance Fever.

Arlene's recent work includes: choreographing the musical numbers in acclaimed playwright Alan Bennett's latest work Allelujah!; a new BBC production of Midsummer Night's Dream; a solo piece for Ed Watson of the Royal Ballet; and a duet for Candoco Dance Company. Arlene has also directed a contemporary new musical 'Myth'; and a staged production of 'A Little Princess' with music by Tony-nominated composer Andrew Lippa. In 2017 she toured the UK with her own show 'The Glitz, The Glamour, The Gossip' talking about her extensive career and telling stories from behind the scenes.
