Tavi Gevinson

Tavi Gavinson is an actress, writer, and editor-in-chief of Rookie, a website for teenage girls, which she founded in 2011. Last year, she appeared in the film Enough Said, written and directed by Nicole Holofcener, and recently guest-starred on the television series “Parenthood” (NBC). Tavi has written for such publications as The Believer, ELLE, and The Chicago Tribune, and has spoken at TEDxTeen, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Sydney Opera House, the New Yorker Festival, and the Melbourne Writers Festival. Penguin Random House is publishing the third print edition of Rookie in October. Tavi recently graduated from Oak Park and River Forest High School in Illinois.
