Matthew Herman Biography
Matthew Herman is a New York based scenic designer with an MFA in Set Design from UC San Diego and a BA in Theatre Arts from Cal Poly SLO. He started his career designing in southern California for The Barn Stage Company as well as many High Schools and youth theater programs. Once he moved to New York, he worked primarily as an assistant on national regional productions as well as off-Broadway and Broadway productions. His goal for each design is to create an emotionally rich world that invites the audience to take part in the story.Matthew Herman News
