John Lampe Biography
John is an actor and director based out of New York City, with credits in theatre and film across the United States.Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, he first started performing throughout the Midwest. John started his professional career in Shakespeare festivals and barbershop quartets before attending Stephens College, a private women’s college in Columbia, Missouri. There, he was part of the school’s Male Apprentice Program where he worked on dozens of plays as an actor and director.
Outside of New York, John worked in theatres in Illinois, Iowa, Connecticut, Indiana, Missouri and Tennessee. In addition to my acting work, he is also an American history enthusiast, hobbyist cheesemaker, writer, and musician.
