THE TONY AWARDS: ACT ONE, a pre-show of live, exclusive content leading into THE 76TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS will commence on Sunday, June 11, at 6:30-8:00 PM, ET/3:30-5:00 PM PT, when the first round of Tony Awards is presented to audiences on Pluto TV.

GRAMMY-winning musician Lenny Kravitz will deliver the “In Memoriam” performance at the 95th Oscars, executive producers and showrunners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, and executive producer Molly McNearney announced. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, “The Oscars” will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide.

This marks Hudgens’ second consecutive year hosting the official pre-show. Content creator Reece Feldman will be a backstage correspondent, and Rocsi Diaz will be the correspondent for the Academy’s member viewing party in New York. The 90-minute special will highlight Oscar nominees, performers and presenters.

The Oscar-nominated song “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR” will be performed at the Oscars, executive producers and showrunners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner. “Naatu Naatu,” with music by M.M. Keeravaani and lyric by Chandrabose, is nominated for Original Song. Singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will make their Oscars debut performing the song.

Actress and singer Sofia Carson, accompanied by songwriter Diane Warren, will perform the Oscar®-nominated song “Applause” from “Tell It like a Woman” at the 95th Oscars®, executive producers and showrunners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, and executive producer Molly McNearney announceD.

Music superstar Rihanna will perform the Oscar®-nominated song “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” at the 95th Oscars, executive producers and showrunners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner announced. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 95th Oscars will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide.

Glenn Weiss has won a Directors Guild of America Award for directing the 75th Annual Tony Awards. Weiss won the Variety/Talk/News/Sports - Specials category. The 75th Annual Tony Awards were hosted by Ariana DeBose. They are available to stream on Paramount+, along with the pre-ceremony hosted by Julianne Hough and Darren Criss.

The Academy Awards for original score, makeup and hairstyling, documentary short, film editing, production design, animated short, live action short and sound, have now been reinstated into the live television broadcast of the Oscars. Jimmy Kimmel is set to return as host for the upcoming ceremony.

Emmy® Award-winning late-night talk show host and producer Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the 95th Oscars®, executive producers and showrunners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner announced. Kimmel hosted back-to-back broadcasts in 2017 (89th Awards) and 2018 (90th Awards).

The Broadway casts of “Moulin Rouge” and “SIX the Musical” will perform on The Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS, anchored by Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight. Jeremy Sisto from FBI, Liza Lapira from The Equalizer, and Louis Cato, bandleader on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will also appear on the special.

The Tony Awards announced today that Academy Award winner and Tony Award nominee, Ariana DeBose (West Side Story, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical) will host the 75th Annual Tony Awards from the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 12, 2022 (8:00 – 11:00 PM, LIVE ET/5:00 – 8:00 PM, LIVE PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+. 

The 75th Annual Tony Awards will return to the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 12th, in a four-hour television and streaming event that will be broadcast live coast to coast for the first time. Dates for nomination eligibility and the nominations announcement have also been announced.

Weiss’ additional directing credits include last year’s multinetwork inaugural night special “Celebrating America,” “The Democratic National Convention,” “The Kennedy Center Honors,” “The Primetime Emmy® Awards,” “Peter Pan Live!,” “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” “Live from Lincoln Center,” and many others.

Anchored by Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight, the special will feature portions of the 95th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade live from New York City. The Broadway casts of Waitress and Chicago will perform live. Waitress star Erich Bergen and Rent alum Anthony Rapp will also stop by to chat with the hosts.
