Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom made his screen debut in Wilde (1997). After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1999, he was cast as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (The Fellowship of the Ring, 2001; The Two Towers, 2002; The Return of the King, 2003). In 2001, he also appeared in Black Hawk Down. Bloom starred as Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), reprising the role in Dead Man’s Chest (2006), At World’s End (2007), and making a cameo appearance in Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017). He appeared in Troy (2004), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), Elizabethtown (2005), and Haven (2006), the latter of which he also executive produced. In 2006, he guest-starred on the television series Extras. Bloom appeared on stage in In Celebration in London in 2007. His later film credits include New York, I Love You (2009) and The Three Musketeers (2011). He reprised the role of Legolas in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014). Bloom made his Broadway debut as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (2013). He starred in the West End production of Killer Joe (2018). Bloom starred in the Amazon Prime series Carnival Row (2019–2023). His recent film work includes The Outpost (2020), Gran Turismo (2023), and The Cut (2024), which he also produced.
