Sordid Lives creator Del Shores returns to Dallas for the world premiere of his new standup show Del Shores The Sh*t Stirrer. Shores will take the stage at The Rose Room March 8, 2019 at 8pm, where he has performed numerous times and filmed three of his standup tours. Shores also filmed part of his last film A Very Sordid Wedding at the legendary room, which featured Dallas queens Cassie Nova, Krystal Summers and Edna Jean Robinson.

Joey Folsom, Artistic Director of The Classics Theatre Project, today announced casting and the creative team for the first production of the 2019 season, Sam Shepard's "Fool for Love." Directed by Canterbury Company Resident Artist (CCRA) Van Quattro, the ensemble cast features many CCRA members including Joey Folsom as Eddie, Sasha Mya Ada as May, R. Andrew Aguilar as Martin, as well as Chris Messersmith as The Old Man. "Fool for Love" runs March 6-30at The Margo Jones Theatre.
Dallas Museum Of Art Announces 2018 Acquisition And Program Highlights

The Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) continued to strengthen and expand its exhibitions and educational programming, bilingual offerings, and curatorial team in 2018 with the appointment of new leadership across departments, the development of expanded education initiatives, and the acquisition of major works across its collections. In support of the DMA's commitment to engaging the community through programs anchored by its collections, three new curators and a new director of education joined the Museum in 2018, and the Museum expanded its off-site and bilingual program offerings. The Museum also added significant works to its collection, including 13 year-end gifts of 512 works of art in contemporary art, sculpture, photography, and the decorative arts.
