Philippe Lafeuille’s TUTU arrives at the Peacock with the air of a sugar rush and the spine of a manifesto. Beneath the sequins, beneath the tulle, beneath the knowing smirk, there is something else at work: lineage.

This year Sadler's Wells celebrates 30 years at its home in the West End, the Peacock Theatre with a vibrant celebratory programme showcasing the very best in dance and live entertainment.

Classical Arts Entertainment is on their annual North American tour and stopped by Strathmore on January 17th for a glitzy, glamorous rendition of Swan Lake, where the set pieces, principal dancers, and costumes shone like snow in moonlight. 

The award-winning choir brings their all-new concert, PEACE, to Queens as part of their 60-City North American Tour. The inspirational concert also features spirited music by Aretha Franklin, Harry Belafonte, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, and more.

xThis coming February, Chicos Mambo’s award-winning show TUTU will return to the Peacock Theatre, Sadler’s Wells Home of Dance and Entertainment in the West End, eighteen months on from its acclaimed and hugely popular London debut.   

Brooklyn Ballet will present its annual production of The Brooklyn Nutcracker at The Theater at City Tech, conceived and choreographed by Artistic Director Lynn Parkerson.

Musical comedy creators Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair are self-described fans of 1930s screwball comedies, so when the pair decided to collaborate on a musical that only needed two actors and a piano, they asked themselves, “What if the Marx Brothers did an Agatha Christie story?”

Sir David Bintley’s 2010 production of Cinderella has been long overdue an outing, and based on Wednesday’s opening night at Birmingham Hippodrome it is worth the wait.
