The 2021/22 reIGNITE Live Arts Season continues with Lucy Kirkwood's provocative and chilling eco-thriller THE CHILDREN. After postponing production during the truncated 2019/20 Season, Live Arts is tremendously excited to share THE CHILDREN with Charlottesville audiences in a Central Virginia premiere.

Previews begin tonight, April 1, for Lincoln Center Theater's production of Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic The Skin of Our Teeth. The production opens on Monday, April 25 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Meet the cast here!

David Harbour and Bill Pullman will star in the world première of Theresa Rebeck’s dark and funny new play Mad House. Directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, the production opens on 26 June at the Ambassadors Theatre, with previews from 15 June, and runs until 4 September.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, announces the Orange County premiere of Cry It Out, Molly Smith Metzler's comedy that takes a sharp and honest look at the double-edged sword of motherhood in all its joys and perils.

Good Theater returns for the second half of the 2021/2022 season with the Maine premiere of Harry Townsend's Last Stand by George Eastman. A smash hit off-Broadway in 2019, Harry Townsend's Last Stand stars Good Theater favorites Will Rhys and James Noel Hoban, and is directed by Good Theater Artistic and Executive Director Brian P. Allen. The production opens February 2nd and plays through February 20th, 2022 at Good Theater’s home, the St. Lawrence Arts Center, 76 Congress Street, Portland. 

THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) is one of the world's most frequently produced plays and has been translated into several dozen languages. Featured are all 37 of Shakespeare's plays, meant to be performed in 97 minutes, by three actors.

10 to 4 Productions has announced new dates for the world premiere of Indecent Proposal; the new musical will now run at Southwark Playhouse from 22nd October – 27th November 2021. After two postponements, the cast and crew will be getting back to creating this ambitious and modern musical inspired by the Jack Engelhard novel.

The musical is directed by Matthew McCray (The Other Place), with music direction by Robyn Manion (Ragtime). The show will have scheduled virtual performances through June 6, 2021.

Chance Theater is making a commitment to the Southern California community in 2021 -- it will produce five shows with local artists during its 23rd Anniversary Season. There will be no cancellations. The shows will be performed either in-person or on a virtual platform. Therefore… “No Risk. All Chance.”

The Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) 2018 production of Romeo and Juliet will be broadcast on BBC Two at 2pm on Tuesday 9 February as part of the BBC's Lockdown Learning's Shakespeare Week.  The production will then be available on BBC iPlayer for 60 days.  

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati (ETC) kicks off the new year with the virtual dramatic reading of the regional premiere drama/comedy 20th Century Blues by Susan Miller, streaming online for two weeks only February 1-14, 2021. Originally scheduled to close the 2019-2020 Season, this production was temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
