TACOMA LITTLE THEATRE will present Katori Hall’s Olivier Award-winning play THE MOUNTAINTOP in Tacoma, WA, continuing its 2025-2026 season. The production will run until May 11, 2026.

In the play “The Mountaintop” by playwright Katori Hall, audiences are led into Room 306, during the late hours of April 3rd. This play is a fictional reimagining of Dr. King’s final night, after delivering his “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop” speech. Through a conversation with multi-faceted character of Camae, Dr. King confronts mortality and the idea of what type of legacy he wants to leave behind. Through acting, directing, set design, lighting and sound, this play, directed by Dee Selmore, is delivered with a deep sense of respect for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This production of “The Mountaintop runs at The Studio at Theatre Tallahassee until March 15th.

The global hit celebrating the life of the Queen of Rock ’n’ Roll arrives in Brazil. TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, nominated for 12 Tony Awards, opened February 26 at Teatro Santander as part of the venue’s 10th anniversary season. Starring Analu Pimenta as Tina and César Mello as Ike Turner, the production traces the icon’s journey from humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to international superstardom. Developed with Tina Turner’s own involvement, the jukebox musical features electrifying performances of classics including “The Best,” “What’s Love Got To Do With It?,” “Private Dancer,” and “Proud Mary.” A story of resilience, reinvention, and triumph, the show runs in a limited engagement in São Paulo.
