Ray of Light Theatre has revealed the cast for its upcoming San Francisco production of Mean Girls the Musical, the hit Broadway adaptation of the iconic Paramount Pictures film, featuring a book by Tina Fey.

It was so fetch getting to see MEAN GIRLS with Stage 13 at Wildwood Park for the Arts in Little Rock Thursday night, January 22, and thankfully I did, because snowmageddon has hit and canceled the remaining weekend. Lucky for you losers, they have moved the weekend shows to Wednesday, January 28, so if you already bought tickets, they were automatically moved for you, and you do not want to miss this show! 

Faye Tozer has joined the cast of MEAN GIRLS THE MUSICAL for its UK tour stop at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. The production will also feature Kiara Dario alongside a previously announced principal cast.

Mean Girls is a fantastic musical based on the beloved movie written by Tina Fey. The story follows Cady Heron, a teenage girl who moves from Africa to a new high school in the United States. As she navigates the tricky social scene, she befriends Janis and Damian, who introduce her to the school's popular clique—the Plastics. Led by the charismatic Regina George, along with Gretchen Wieners and Karen Smith, this group is both glamorous and a little bit ruthless.

And the Plastics of North Shore High School – the self-obsessed, their-way-or-the-highway trio of “mean girls” at the center of the eponymous hit 2004 feature-film comedy, the 2018 Broadway musical it inspired, and the 2024 feature film based on the musical  – have done just that, becoming an enduring part of pop culture.

The iconic 2004 movie Mean Girls has been reimagined for the stage in this infectious musical, currently running at The Ordway. With a book by Tina Fey, music by Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Nell Benjamin, Mean Girls on tour delivers high energy, sharp humor, and a soundtrack that will have you tapping your toes long after the curtain falls.

Beginning this May, Christ Church Burial Ground will come alive with Sonic Sunsets, a new live jazz series offering Philadelphians a chance to experience bold, boundary-pushing music in one of the city’s most iconic and historic settings.

The award-winning West End production of MEAN GIRLS will complete its run at the Savoy Theatre on Sunday 8 June at the end of the current booking period, ahead of a UK Tour in 2026.

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts will present the North American Tour of Mean Girls—the record-breaking new musical comedy adapted from the hit Paramount Pictures film—April 8-13, 2025.
