What did our critic think of MEAN GIRLS at Cultural Arts Playhouse? The 2018 smash-hit musical MEAN GIRLS, based on the 2004 cult classic is playing at the Cultural Arts Playhouse in Merrick. Directed by Taneisha Corbin, the production is bursting at the seams with energy and electricity. 

BroadwayKids&Company School of Performing Arts, the only pre-professional performing arts training academy in Southeastern CT, will perform Mean Girls: High School Version at the Garde Arts Center May 5th and 6th.

Cady, the new student who learns that high school is like the jungles of Africa. She “Meets the Plastics” the top of the high school hierarchy, and learns how cruel queen bee, Regina George, is and her friends Janice and Damian create a “Revenge Party” to bring Regina down. We see each characters' growth, just as we all did through high school.

How far would you have gone to be one of the cool kids in high school? That's the theme of Mean Girls, which is running now through April 22 only.

Jon Hamm has joined the cast of the Mean Girls movie musical as gym coach and sex-ed teacher Coach Carr. He joins Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Connor Raitliff, Angourie Rice, Auli'i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Christopher Briney, Ashley Park, Mahi Alam, Busy Phillips, Jenna Fischer, and Reneé Rapp in the new film.

Mahi Alam and Connor Ratliff have joined the cast of the upcoming movie musical adaptation of Mean Girls. Alam will play Mathlete Kevin G., who befriends Cady (Angourie Rice) while having a crush on her friend Janis (Auli’i Cravalho). They join Reneé Rapp, Jaquel Spivey, Tina Fey, Busy Philipps, Jenna Fischer, Tim Meadows, Ashley Park, and more.

Featuring dynamic choreography from director Casey Nicholaw and new songs from Fey's hubby Jeff Richmond and lyricist Nell Benjamin, this stage adaptation of the cult hit movie (that will also soon be re-adapted into a movie musical) admirably recreates its quote-heavy 'fetch'-ness and anthropological commentary for the social media age.

Renee Rapp is currently in the midst of filming the movie musical adaptation of Mean Girls, reprising her Broadway role as Regina George. Rapp gave an update to Michael Strahan about their filming progress before the performance. The upcoming Mean Girls movie musical officially goes into production today! Renee Rapp, who will reprise the role of Regina George that she played on Broadway, took to Instagram to share the news.

Park was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance as Gretchen Weiners in the original Broadway production of Mean Girls the musical. She joins Busy Philipps, Jenna Fischer, Tina Fey, Angourie Rice, Auli'i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, and Reneé Rapp.

She's not like a regular mom, she's a cool mom! Busy Philipps has joined the Mean Girls film adaptation as Mrs. George, Regina George's mother. Phillips joins the previously announced Jenna Fischer, Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Reneé Rapp, Angourie Rice, Auli'i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, and Christopher Briney.

She joins the previously announced Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Angourie Rice, Auli'i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Christopher Briney, and Reneé Rapp reprising her Broadway role as Regina George.

Amanda Seyfried has revealed that she and the four stars of the original Mean Girls movie, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Lacey Chabert, are 'dead set' on appearing in the sequel. Seyfried, who played Karen Smith in the 2004 movie, also offered her idea on how they could possibly appear in the film.

Original film cast members Tina Fey and Tim Meadows will reprise their original Mean Girls film roles in the upcoming movie musical. Fey, who also wrote the original film and Broadway musical, plays math teacher Ms. Norbury, with Meadows as Mr. Duvall, the school's principal.

The producers of MEAN GIRLS - the record-breaking new musical comedy produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film - have announced the First National Tour coming to Orange County at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The show will be playing in Segerstrom Hall from March 7 – 19, 2023.
