The final Sundance Film Festival held in Utah was surprisingly filled with connections to live theatre and stage or movie musicals, from films featuring Broadway stars like ONCE ON THIS ISLAND’s Isaac Powell in THE MOMENT to panels and Q&As with performers and filmmakers who are connected to theatre, like HAMILTON’s Daveed Diggs at The Audible Listening Lodge, or who are just simply fans.

The Phoenix Theatre Company will present Tenderly: The Rosemary Clooney Musical, an intimate and heartfelt musical that traces the extraordinary life of one of America's most beloved voices.

It had been over a decade since DEBBY BOONE last performed in Los Angeles, until she performed her appropriately titled show, IT'S BEEN AWHILE at Vibrato Grill Jazz in November 2025. Debby is thrilled to make her debut at the iconic 54 Below in Manhattan on February 26 before returning to the West Coast at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano on March 1. She shared recently that ideally she would love to play both coasts at CARNEGIE HALL and WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL in her near future. The Grand Ole Opry will host a 25th anniversary celebration for the 8x Platinum O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack on Sat. February 28. The special Opry show will feature artists from the original soundtrack, including Alison Krauss, Billy Strings, and more.
