Comedian Aries Spears has been announced to perform at Ruth Eckerd Hall on January 22. Known for his sharp wit and engaging performances, Spears continues to be a prominent figure in stand-up comedy.

Season three of “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” will premiere Thursday, Aug. 6 on Disney+. Ahead of the summer debut, the series has also been renewed for a fourth season, coming to Disney+ in 2026.

Ensemble Theatre Company has announced additional casting for an add-on production to its season, the world premiere of a new comedy, PARENTS IN CHAINS, written by Emmy and Peabody award-winner Jay Martel and directed by Andy Fickman.

From August 22-28, viewers have the chance to see Sing Sing for free. According to Variety, AMC has partnered with A24, along with several high-profile celebrities, to provide free screenings of the new drama, which stars Colman Domingo.

Inspired by the book from historian Donald Bogle, Hollywood Black, directed by Justin Simien, chronicles the history of cinema, but from a radically Black perspective. By unearthing personal stories from actors, writers, directors, and producers who fought for their place on the page, behind the camera and on the screen, the series provides a critical reexamination of a quintessentially American story—in brilliant color.

Prime Video has just dropped a new clip from Space Cadet, the upcoming comedy starring Emma Roberts. Written and directed by Liz W. Garcia, the movie will premiere globally on Prime Video July 4. Watch the clip now!

The thriller centers on a former child star (Roberts) from a popular 90’s television show who is kidnapped and wakes up in a complete recreation of the show’s set with the rest of the cast.
