Organizers of the 2023 Rochester Fringe Festival (Tuesday, September 12–Saturday, September 23) announced that Tig Notaro will be this year’s comedy headliner on Saturday, September 16 at 8:00 p.m. in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, 26 Gibbs Street.

The Warner Theatre will welcome comedian TIG NOTARO to the Oneglia Auditorium on Friday, September 15 at 8 pm. Tickets go on sale to Warner Supporters on Tuesday, June 27 at 10 am, and to the public on Friday, June 30 at 10 am.

The Hollywood Critics Association have announced the complete list of winners for their Inaugural HCA Creative Arts Awards and the 6th Annual HCA Film Awards. A24's EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE, which had the most nominations in the organization's history, took home seven awards (Best Editing, Best Cast Ensemble, Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director, Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh, and Best Picture) while Variance Films' global sensation RRR won a total of four awards (Best Original Song, Best Stunts, Best Action Film, and Best International Film). Taylor Swift won Best Short Film for ALL TOO WELL.

Gilda's LaughFest, celebrating 13 years of laughter, announced registration is now open for the Seriously Funny Adventure Challenge. This year's event expands into larger areas of Grand Rapids, including downtown, and into all three of the city's wards.

Acclaimed storytelling nonprofit The Moth has announced details for their annual fundraising gala, Full Bloom: The 2023 Moth Ball. Taking place at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers on Tuesday, May 23rd, this year's gathering will honor award-winning comedian and longtime Moth friend and storyteller, Hasan Minhaj. Tickets start at $500 and are on sale now.

Celebrating 13 years of laughter, Gilda's LaughFest is in need of volunteers to support this year's festival set for March 8-12. There are numerous ways volunteers can help leading up to and during the festival. There is no minimum requirement in terms of amount of time or number of events needed to volunteer.
