BIO
Sarah Hogewood (she/her) is a writer and performer based in NYC. She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied musical theatre at the New Studio on Broadway. Her One-Woman odyssey: The Things I Did While Waiting for You to Fall Back in Love with Me returns to NYC this June after receiving 5 stars at the legendary Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Additionally, her sold-out play, The Leading Lady Club: A Feminist (But Still Likeable) Sketch Show, is the 2024 winner of NY Fringe’s Best Comedy and The Audience Choice Award, a Playbill Top Pick from Edinburgh Fringe, and is currently nominated for Broadway World’s Best New Play Off-Off Broadway. Sarah’s performing credits include: Indecent, Fun Home, A Christmas Carol Nat’l Tour, and The Magic School Bus (originating the role of “Ms. Frizzle” in the official Scholastic Musical.)
