Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) announced the results of its 2023 Executive Board election at its Annual Membership Meeting on Monday night, November 13.

Hartford Stage has announced the cast and creative team of A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas. The holiday classic returns after a three-year hiatus, with original director Michael Wilson, who also adapted the play from Charles Dickens' novel, at the helm.

On Saturday, September 23, Hartford Stage will open its doors for its second consecutive Open House from 12:00PM to 4:00PM, and a Job Fair from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at 50 Church Street in downtown Hartford. New and returning audience members are invited to discover more about the inner workings and activities of the Tony Award-winning theater. 

The Hartford Stage Board of Directors at their Annual Meeting held on Tuesday, June 20 announced the one-year extension of current Board President, Jack Sennott, who will continue to work alongside Artistic Director Melia Bensussen and Managing Director Cynthia Rider leading Hartford Stage.

All tickets for Hartford Stage’s 60th anniversary season went on sale on Monday, July 31, 2023. Ticket prices range from $30 - $105. Discounted rates are available for subscribers, students, and groups of 10 or more.

Hartford Stage will welcome audiences back for a weekend of performances of the highly-anticipated, long-running summer program: Breakdancing Shakespeare. Public performances of The Tempest will be on Friday, July 28 at 7 pm; Saturday, July 29 at 7 pm; and Sunday, July 30 at 2 pm.
