Marah Sotelo is an actress, singer, and musician originally from Chicago, IL and now based in San Francisco, CA. Recent Bay Area roles include Cinderella in Into the Woods
(Berkeley Playhouse), Cathy in The Last Five Years and Linda Low in
Flower Drum Song (Palo Alto Players), Amalia Balash in She Loves Me
(Mountain Play/Ross Valley Players), Candela in Women on the Verge of
a Nervous Breakdown (Town Hall Theatre), and Sally Bowles in Cabaret
(Pacifica Spindrift Players), for which she won Best Leading Actress in a Musical (Local) BroadwayWorld San Francisco. Other roles include Mimi in Rent and
Marta in Company (Station Theatre), Lady of the Lake in Spamalot and
Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Parkland Theatre), Eponine in
Les Misérables, Amneris in Aida, and Christmas Eve in Avenue Q
(Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company), and Johanna in Sweeney Todd
(Danville Light Opera).

Ray of Light Theatre has announced full casting for CRUEL INTENTIONS: THE '90s MUSICAL, the jukebox musical based on the 1999 cult classic film with a score made up of over 20 hit songs from the '90s. The show launches at the Victoria Theatre in The Mission on September 8th and runs through October 1st.

There’s not a single track on the album that really sticks with you, but I imagine anyone who programs children’s theater who gives ONCE UPON A TIME STEP a listen will be reaching out to Lylte to license a show or two.
