Photos: STREETLIGHT THE MUSICAL Cast And Crew Set For 29-Hour Reading

Josephine and John Destefano’s Streetlight, The Musical will be presented in a concert performance featuring orchestrations and musical direction by Robert T. Buonaspina and direction by Michelle Mallardi. Check out photos of the cast as they assemble for rehearsal below!

The performance will take place at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at Long Island University.

The concert will feature a live 30-piece orchestra and will be performed on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 7:30 p.m.

The performance will serve as a benefit for Island Harvest Food Bank, a hunger-relief organization working to end hunger and reduce food waste across Long Island.

Streetlight is an original musical set on a New York City street corner, exploring intersecting lives shaped by ambition, loss, and hope. The story follows a successful young executive who is pulled out of his insulated world and into the lives of those around him, leading to a reassessment of his understanding of success, love, and human worth. Guided by a mysterious figure with ties to his past, he confronts the consequences of his choices and the possibility of redemption.
