BIO
Crystal is an actor and writer. She has originated roles in plays by Will Arbery, Jeff Augustin, Guillermo Calderón, Jorge Ignacio Cortiñas, Samuel D. Hunter, Gregory S. Moss, Peggy Stafford, Anne Washburn and many more. She is an affiliated artist with Clubbed Thumb where she has developed, workshopped and performed in dozens of new works including most recently two iterations of Will Arbery’s Plano and the NYT critic’s pick King Phillip’ Head. She made her Broadway debut in Noah Haidle’s Birthday Candles, for which she won a Theatre World Award. As a writer she has developed work with Clubbed Thumb in their Early-career Writers’ Group and was a semi-finalist for the Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission. Her play Ms. Lily was directed by Josiah Davis for Clubbed Thumb Winterworks. She also loves to write essays! Such as this one in American Theatre Magazine.
