Clifford Spulock, originally from New Jersey, is a South Florida based lighting designer who primarily focuses on professional musical theatre. However, he can often times be found designing dance, plays, concerts, corporate and many other types of events. Clifford has design credits at many different levels of productions including: national tours, regional, collegiate, local, and educational.

Gary Schweikhart, board president of the Carbonell Awards, South Florida's Theater & Arts Honors, has announced the top six finalists in 20 competitive categories for the 2023-2024 theater season. A total of 89 professional productions at 29 theatres were evaluated by a diverse group of more than 40 judges representing all three participating counties (Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach).
