Blake DeLong is an actor, playwright, and film producer. New York audiences know him best for his dual-role as Andrey Bolkonsky and Old Prince Bolkonsky, which he originated in the hit musical Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (2014 Lucille Lortel Award nomination). His film work includes We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011), Thank You a Lot (2014) and Auld Lang Syne (2016). A sixth generation Texan, he studied history and played in rock bands while attending The University of Texas at Austin. He began appearing in new and experimental plays in Austin's vibrant theater scene in the early 2000's, and was subsequently recruited to return to the university as an MFA student in acting. He moved to New York City in 2008. DeLong's work has been seen on stages and screens around the world, including The Public Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and SXSW. He has worked with film and theater luminaries like Lynne Ramsay, Daniel Craig, David Oyelowo, Tilda Swinton, Richard Nelson, Sam Gold, Rachel Chavkin, and Dave Malloy among others. Most recently he appeared in Spike Lee's Pass Over (2018), for Amazon Studios.
