Andrew Hungerford

Andrew Hungerford is a theatre maker with a scenographic approach to storytelling. His over 300 design credits span theatrical spaces of various sizes across the country and internationally, ranging from a closet in Edinburgh to Broadway scale touring houses. Past credits include Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Boise Contemporary Theatre, Rogue Machine Theatre, Boston Court Pasadena, Portland Stage, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, New York Theatre Workshop, and La Jolla Playhouse. Andrew was Producing Artistic Director at Know Theatre of Cincinnati from July 2014 through June 2024, where he was also resident scenic and lighting designer from 2007-2024. He holds degrees in theatre and astrophysics from Michigan State University and his MFA in lighting design from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
