According to The Public Theater's website, today and tomorrow's performances of SUFFS have been cancelled. The show was set to have play at 1:30pm and 7:30pm on May 14th, today, and May 15th, tomorrow. Other shows have been cancelled for this weekend due to Covid and illness, including Moulin Rouge! The Musical and The Skin Of Our Teeth. SUFFS is set to resume performances on Tuesday, May 17th at 7:30pm. The limited run is set to close on May 29th. Rehearsals have begun and it feels like sha la la for Love in Hate Nation, an original rock romance set in a 1960s Juvie Hall that features book, music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis, directed by John Simpkins. Love in Hate Nation has music direction and vocal arrangements by Annastasia Victory, music supervision and orchestrations by Charlie Rosen, and choreography by Mayte Natalio. Performances will begin in Two River's Rechnitz Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, on Saturday, November 9 and continue through Sunday, December 1. This year's the eighth annual ceremony took place on June 27, hosted by Tony Award¬ģ-nominee Zachary Levi. The coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor was presented to Josh Stroblrepresenting The Jerry Herman Awards and Amina Faye representing The Blumey Awards.
