- October 22, 2022 Multi-Award Winning Director/Choreographer Chet Walker passed away peacefully on
Friday, October 21, 2022, at his home in Cornelius, North Carolina, from a glioblastoma tumor. His devoted husband Jack, their beloved daughter Charlie, and close family were at his side.

Opera Singer Joanna Simon, Sister of Carly and Lucy Simon, Has Passed Away by BWW Staff
- October 21, 2022 Opera singer Joanna Simon has passed away at the age of 85. Simon succumbed to the effects of thyroid cancer just one day after her sister, Broadway composer Lucy Simon, 82, died from metastatic breast cancer. The two women are survived by their sister, singer-songwriter Carly Simon.
