The Dallas Symphony Orchestra Announces Inaugural Women In Classical Music Symposium

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) announced today the programming and guests for the inaugural Women in Classical Music Symposium. This intensive and comprehensive symposium, sponsored by J.P. Morgan, held November 6-9, 2019, in Dallas, Texas, will feature talks, a public keynote presentation and panel discussions on topics relevant to women in the classical music industry and their unique struggles and triumphs. The event will also include important networking opportunities and performances and will appeal to individuals in all roles of classical music - orchestra members, soloists, composers, conductors and administrators - with pathways for conversation and discussion.

Rover Presents DELIRIUM'S DAUGHTERS

Rover Dramawerks continues their 19th Season with the regional premiere comedy Delirium's Daughters by Nicholas Korn. This will be the first production of Delirium's Daughters following the play's successful Off- and Off-Off-Broadway runs. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run May 2-18 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

10th Annual FESTIVAL OF THE KID Announced At Stage West

Stage West is pleased to announce the 10th annual Festival of the Kid performances, Monday through Wednesday May 6-May 8 in the Studio at Stage West.  This unique festival was originally conceived by Rob Bosquez, Jr. and Dana Schultes in 2009, and its first performance was presented in December of that year.  Their idea was simple: produce plays written by kids and use their peers as the performers.  Since that time, the Neighborhood Play Contest has drawn hundreds of entries, and has expanded to three days, with two performances each night.

As the interview began, I was so pleased to find such an easygoing, humble, and joyful person on the other end of the line. Gratitude for the experience of being part of this show just flowed from him- I lost track of the number of times Noel called this opportunity a blessing.
