Sierra Nevada Brewery came up with a unique idea: recruit 1,400 breweries across the U.S. to join together in brewing a special fundraiser beer for the Camp Fire Relief Fund. Suppliers donated ingredients to all the participating brewers nationwide, and even wholesalers and retailers came on board to carry the beer and donate every dollar they received. All of them agreed to do this at no cost, to benefit people they'd never met. That way, all 100 percent of the sales from Resilience Butte County Proud IPA would go to the relief initiative.
