I am so thrilled to be featuring Lupita Nyong'o as my Fashion Photo of the Day! If you don't know her name, you will soon. Nyongo'o is the star of the movie Twelve Years a Slave and has already been getting a ton of Oscars buzz. And she has hit every red carpet and appearance with bold choices, bright colors and patterns, chic silhouettes and all around brilliant fashion.

Yesterday was the Christening of Prince George. It was a very special occasion and very very private - only 24 guests invited including the Queen and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and George's seven godparents and their spouses. The color of the day was cream to match baby George's Christening robe. Catherine Duchess of Cambridge looked chic in a cream suit by Alexander McQueen and a hat by Jane Taylor. But really, are we at all surprised Kate was the epitome of class and elegance?

Its official: Kate Beckinsale needs to be at every event, on every red carpet, all the time. No questions asked. She is just too stunning to not be at everything. I love how much punch she packed into one outfit. She is head-to-toe perfection in this red dress by Donna Karan, and she styled it to the nines.

We all know I love a good jumpsuit but Darby Stanchfield's is too amazing to be classified as just 'good.' First of all, I am already in love with Stanchfield from watching her as Abby Whelan every week on Scandal. How can you not love a fiery red head who is smart, sassy and works for Olivia Pope? But in real life, Stanchfield doesn't have to dress as conservatively as her Scandal character. Case in point, this to-die-for white jumpsuit with cutout details.

Ahhh! I love this Christian Dior dress Allison Williams wore to the 12th Annual An Enduring Vision Benefit by the Elton John Aids Foundation in New York. Williams always opts for a classic and chic look but sometimes it can verge on a little boring. Her dress at the Emmy Awards was simply stunning but her styling made it appear a little to casual for me and I felt the overall look lacked some punch. But this look hit the nail on the head!

All hail the Duchess! Kate Middleton made her third planned appearance since giving birth to baby George. The Duchess visited an athletic workshop at the Queen Elizabeht Olympic park to meet future Olympians and their parents. The Duchess showed off her athletic skills herself and her amazingly slim post baby figure (I mean, is it even fair?).

How much do you love that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley collaborated with Marks & Spencer on a sleepwear collection? I know I want to look like her at all times, especially in my pj's! If that is what Rosie looks like when she goes to bed then it's more than good enough for me. But in all seriousness, she looked radiant at the photocall for the launch of her new collection.

Cher Lloyd's look is the epitome of fall chic to me. The singer/model helped pass out ice cream in New York City yesterday for charity but she dressed to impress. No oversized sweater and leggings action for her outdoor charity event. No, Lloyd showed up and meant fashion business.

I am at a loss with this look. I love Amy Adams, I really do. But I don't know what to make of this lavender Prabal Gurung dress. Let's start with her hair and makeup and work down from there. Okay, the hair - love! Its simple, clean and chic. And her makeup is fun and daring with the blue smokey eyes. From the shoulders up, this look is a huge wow for me. But then I get really confused.

Britney Spears was spotted out and about in London promoting her new music and recently announced residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Spears looked great in a simple but trendy all black ensemble. I am really into leather pants right now - aren't we all - and she kept her look casual with a black tunic and wedge sneakers. Spears topped her look off with a really beautiful gold spiked necklace by MAKKO. Long necklaces are a great go-to accessory to keep an outfit streamline and chic!

Being single really agrees with Katie Holmes. She looks carefree and more like the girl-next-door we all fell in love with pre-Tom. Not that she didn't look chic and sophisticated while married to actor Tom Cruise. But her haute couture clothing always seemed a bit out of place on her, like she was playing a role. This outfit Holmes wore to tape a segment on Good Morning America is stylish, young and seems natural for Holmes.

Everytime I think I have seen my favorite Sandra Bullock look, she goes and kicks it up a knotch. I don't know how she does it, but she always knocks it out of the park. Where do you go from here? In Sandra's case - better and better and better. This week Sandra looked absolutely stunning in a Stella McCartney black lace dress for the London premiere of Gravity.

I had to pick this picture for today's Fashion Photo of the Day because they always fashionable Sienna Miller is wearing white! It just proves my point from yesterday - there is white everywhere! I don't know what is with this post Labor Day white thing lately and this dress is not even a 'winter white.' Are fashion 'rules' just being thrown out the window? Or is it a bold choice to wear a summery dress in October?

Is it me, or has there been a lot of white lately? I think I have seen more white dresses in the past month than I noticed all summer. Regardless, I am loving it! Julianne Moore looked stun-ning at the premiere of Carrie in a white Givenchy gown.

Dakota Fanning looked stunning and sophisticated at the Louis Vuitton S/S 2014 show during Paris Fashion Week. I am usually not a fan of a sheer overlay maxi dress but this Louis Vuitton dress is definitely the exception. It is so cool how the dress looks like a sheer dress over a sheer dress - almost like Fanning is wearing a neglige under lace, but not in a trashy way. Top that with different criss-crossing piping and the dress is just beyond amazing.

Emma Watson has done it again. The young starlet looked stunning at the premiere of Gravity in New York City in a white J Mendel dress. Watson always keeps me guessing as to what she will wear next - from prim and proper to edgy and outrageous. This dress falls somewhere in the middle, but that middle, is a great place to be: chic and sophisticated.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was hot to trot on the streets of Paris. Rosie looked chic and sleek decked in black, showcasing some of fall's must have trends: leather, booties and animal print. Done done and done. Rosie effortlessly mixed and matched designers, textures and fabrics to create this stunning ensemble and I am a little bit obsessed (and want it all).

I am so excited that Kim K is back in fashion action! Kim made her first official debut since giving birth to daughter North West this past June. Kim walked hand in hand with beau Kanye West as the two entered the Givenchy S/S 2014 runway show in Paris Sunday night. Kim wore a stunning black dress created for her by Riccardo Tisci. There is a lot going on - the high slit, peplum waist and sheer neckline. But somehow Kim manages to make it all work. Did you ever doubt it?

I saved my favorite for last of the Emmy Award red carpet pics: Julia Louis-Dreyfus. I know it is a cliche but she really does get better with age...like a fine wine...ok that's enough of that! But come one, doesn't she look FAB? This Monique Lhuillier gown is the epitome of awards show sophistication and glamour and Julia styled it to perfection by leaving everything else simple.

Claire Danes dressed to win at Sunday night's Primetime Emmy Awards. To me, an Armani Prive dress means business- serious fashion business! Danes hit the red carpet with grace and elegance and a chic faux bob to boot! I think I may have actually gasped when I saw the faux bob.
