HCAC offers classes and workshops for lifelong learners from Pre-K through adult. Classes typically range in duration from six to eight weeks. BPA Theatre School enrollment for summer classes is now open for pupils of all ages. Under the experienced leadership of Katharine Beddoe, students (ages 4 - 7) in Creative Drama will explore the elements of theatre and learn to use their faces, bodies, and voices to tell a story. Katharine will also lead students (ages 6 - 8) as they learn two song-and-dance numbers and engage in goofy, imaginative skill-building theatre games in Introduction to Musical Theatre.

ASASE YAA Cultural Arts Foundation Announces Plans To Expand Children's Summer Arts Camp

The highly-regarded Brooklyn-based Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation, which is celebrating its 18th Anniversary this year, has scheduled an Open House event at its new location, PS 21 on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. The Foundation relocated to PS 21 in early January. They have also announced plans to extend registration for an additional thirty students (ages 4 -13) to attend their popular Children's Summer Arts Camp. The six-week camp commences on June 21st.

Wild Swan Theater is offering a lineup of drama camps once again this summer.  Camps begin June 17th and run through August 2nd, with sessions available for children ages 4-12.  Wild Swan Theater drama camps are fun experiences where kids can feel safe and comfortable exploring the imaginative world of theater.  Our main goal is that every camper has a great time cultivating their creativity and leaves camp feeling successful. Activities include warm-ups, theater games, and improvisations that bring people together in a nurturing, memorable way.  Some weeks also include craft activities such as making props and costume pieces.
