BroadwayWorld has learned that tonight Brittney Johnson makes her Glinda debut in WICKED on Broadway, becoming the first actress of color to play the part.

Mariska Hargitay recently visited Wicked, where she hung out backstage with the show's green girl, Jessica Vosk. While backstage, Hargitay called Liam Neeson, who Vosk admitted to having a crush on. Watch the video ehre.

Beginning performances Tuesday, December 11, the ever popular Katie Rose Clarke will return to the role of Glinda in WICKED.

The Broadway blockbuster WICKED will welcome new cast members to the Gershwin Theatre this fall. Beginning Tuesday, November 20, Tony Award nominee Nancy Opel will assume the role of Madame Morrible and Jamie Jackson will assume the role of Doctor Dillamond. Jesse JP Johnson will assume the role of Boq on Tuesday, December 11.
