Beatrix Is Invisible, a new short film led by Little Shop of Horrors alum Ellen Greene, has won the Audience Award for Best Live Action Short following the film's premiere at the Palm Springs International Shortfest.

Lost Nation Theater presents the culminating project of its one-week Dance-Theater Storytelling Camp: The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

The JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center has been proud to produce whimsical and touching stories through its Denver Children's Theatre for 22 years. 2019 will represent the final season for this community staple and it's determined to go out with a blast through the stars. Following in the footsteps of Grease and A Christmas Story, the network will be presenting Jonathan Larson's Rent, a rock musical that is loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's 1896 opera, La boheme. The story follows a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in New York City's East Village in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

Today's subjects, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, are most commonly associated with one particular Broadway show – Rent. This Friday night, April 28th, you can see them join forces once again at the Music Center at Strathmore in Bethesda, Maryland, and it promises to be a really good time. It may also introduce you other aspects of their theatre lives since that groundbreaking 1990s musical.

Just days after the news that a musical film remake of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is in the works, the show's original Off-Broadway and big screen star Ellen Greene will appear in the new horror comedy series 12 DEADLY DAYS, debuting on Monday, December 12, on Youtube Red.

Eddie Cooper replaces his father Chuck Cooper, who will be starring in the upcoming Broadway musical Amazing Grace.

According to Variety, Broadway's Anthony Rapp, along with Kate Walsh and Jonathan Bennett, has signed on for the upcoming gay marriage drama MODERN LOVE.

Jake Gyllenhaal, Chuck Cooper and Taran Killam will join the previously announced Ellen Greene in the Encores! Off-Center concert production ofHoward Ashman and Alan Menken's Little Shop of Horrors, running July 1-2, 2015. NOTE: A third performance has been added at 2pm on Thursday, July 2 in order to meet ticket demand. The production will be directed by Dick Scanlan, with choreography by Patricia Wilcox. Jeanine Tesori is the Artistic Director of Encores! Off-Center, and Chris Fenwick is Music Director. The show will mark the musical theater debuts of both Gyllenhaal and Killam.
