by Natalie O'Donoghue - August 08, 2022
When Rob was 12, they attempted a full-blown Disney parade in their house for their grandma. As Rob donned wigs and played Mary Poppins, Ariel, Mickey Mouse and Belle, their dad doubled as stage manager, sound technician and Goofy. This is the joyous, chaotic, autobiographical story of actor, writer and social-media sensation Rob Madge as they set out to recreate that parade – and this time, nobody, no, nobody is gonna rain on it.

A true tale of twins growing up with cerebral palsy. Jump aboard the 'strugglebus' with Jack as he steers through the intersectionality of disability, whilst honking at societal attitudes and Eddie Redmayne's career choices.

Edinburgh 2022: Review: RACHEL FAIRBURN: CAN I BE AWFUL? , Monkey Barrel
by Natalie O'Donoghue - August 05, 2022
Brassy, abrasive, rude, belligerent. The four horsemen of the apocalypse? No. They’re all words that have been used to describe Rachel of All Killa No Filla, and she’s proper sick of it now. She’s also sick of being told to “be kind” by everyone from bearded hipster men in T-shirts. What’s wrong with saying it how you see it? What really is kindness? Why is Rachel’s truth not respected? Why are you all so annoying? Probably because nobody tells you that you are. Let Rachel change that.
