The Park Theatre just celebrated its third year of operation of its newly rebuilt theatre. In honor of the event, the Jaffrey performing arts center launched a $25,000 50/50 raffle.
Park Theatre Announces $25,000 Prize Super 50/50 Summer Raffle

On the 3rd anniversary of the opening of the totally rebuilt Park Theatre, the Jaffrey performing arts center announced this morning that it has begun a major raffle fundraising program. The Super 50/50 Summer Raffle has a single grand prize of up to $25,000. Tickets cost $100 each, however the odds are strong because a maximum of 500 tickets will be sold.
Park Theatre Awarded New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Grant

The Park Theatre recently received a $20,000 unrestricted Community Grant award from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. The grant will help support general operations to further the Theatre’s purpose to present the best film, live performance, and special events for the community.
'Exhibition On Screen' Art Film Series Begins In May At Park Theatre

The acclaimed documentary series about art and artists, EXHIBITION ON SCREEN, will debut at The Park Theatre in Jaffrey on May 10 with Vermeer: The Greatest Exhibition. The 8-part series will present one new documentary film each month, May through December on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:30pm. They will be screened in the 333-seat Eppes Auditorium with its 27-foot wide screen and 17-speaker surround sound.
Tribute To Blues Great Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson Planned For Park Theatre

Born in Mississippi in 1939, Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson played with some of the greatest blues artists of all time. Luther notably represented the West Side Chicago style of Blues. He was part of Muddy Waters' band from 1972-1980. He will always be remembered for backing John Lee Hooker in the movie The Blues Brothers. Luther toured around the world, but for the last few decades he has called the Monadnock region his home.
