Actor’s Express has opened their 38th season with the acclaimed musical Girl From the North Country, now playing through March 8. With book by Connor McPherson alongside the songs of Bob Dylan, the jukebox musical’s UK and New York debuts in 2017 and 2018, respectively, earned favorable reviews and award nominations. While the company at Actor’s Express has put forth a dynamic and technically proficient production, the gloomy content almost sabotages it.

Written by and starring comedic actor and playwright Wallace Shawn and avant garde theater director André Gregory, and based on their lives, the 1981 film is the story of two old friends who share dinner at a New York bistro while revisiting their ongoing debate about the life of an artist and the art of making a living.

Theatrical Outfit will present A Christmas Story this holiday season, running November 29 – December 24, 2023 live on stage at the newly renovated Balzer Theater at Herren’s.

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater presents the world premiere of The Pickleball Wars, by Kevin Rice, directed by Daisy Walker. Performances run Tuesdays through Saturdays, August 11 to September 9 at 8 p.m. Preview performances at 7:30 p.m. on August 9 and 10 are discounted and open to the public.

Theatrical Outfit returns to the stage this holiday season with Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery. from November 17 – December 19, 2021.

This historical comedy is a site-specific and audience interactive piece where the audience is treated as newly arrived airmen at the 762nd Air Force Radar Squadron in June 1969 and about to begin a 12-month tour of duty in North Truro.
