Botticelli in the Fire, by Jordan Tannahill, produced by Downstage, will run at the Big Secret Theatre in the Werklund Centre. From the mind of one of Canada’s most celebrated playwrights comes a bold reimagining of Renaissance Florence.

In a world where AI increasingly tries to consume and simulate real human experiences, theatre sometimes feels like one of the last gasps of being in a room together. When we watch a show with others, respiration synchronizes, empathy increases, and information retention improves. It’s one of my favourite feelings.

Due to demand, Studio Seaview’s presentation of Jesse Eisenberg’s The Ziegfeld Files, directed by Shayok Misha Chowdhury, is adding three more performances. The new performances are set for December 7 at 3pm and 7pm, and December 8 at 7pm.

A third and final extension has been revealed for Jordan Tannahill’s hit play Prince Faggot, now running in Seaview’s new Off-Broadway home. Prince Faggot transferred to Studio Seaview in September.
