Katherine Hahn is now in talks to play 'Mother Gothel' in Disney's live-action remake of Tangled. Since the new film was announced, online fans have lobbied for Hahn to be cast in the role, which was voiced in the original film by Donna Murphy.

Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim are set to lead Disney's live-action remake of Tangled as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Michael Gracey of The Greatest Showman and 2024's Better Man will direct the movie.

Casting is now underway for Disney's live-action Tangled with Freya Skye, Sarah Catherine Hook, Teagan Croft and Olivia-Mai Barrett having screen tested for the leading role of Rapunzel. Little Shop alum Milo Manheim has tested for the part of Flynn Rider.
