Primary Stages has revealed programming for the 2026 Fresh Ink Reading Series, the first opportunity to hear brand new plays from the playwrights in the Dorothy Strelsin New American Writers Group.

​Dallas Theater Center has appointed Jaime Castañeda as its Enloe/Rose Artistic Director. Castañeda is the sixth artistic director in the theater's more than sixty-year history and will present his inaugural season at DTC in 2026-27.

SMU Meadows School of the Arts has revealed that the recipient of the 2026 Meadows Award is Brian Stokes Mitchell, known for his Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning performances.
