BARBARINO’S BIG NIGHT OUT is one of those old-school shows you might have heard happened “back in the day” that always induces retroactive “FOMO.” The monthly show is a throwback to a wilder, crazier New York nightlife.

In celebration of their 40th anniversary, Criterion will continue traveling the Criterion Closet Picks show to Brooklyn Bridge Park on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27 from 10am-6pm daily, in partnership with St. Ann’s Warehouse, where Criterion will also screen the best of its 15 years of Closet Picks.

In the new season of the Emmy® nominated series FINDING YOUR ROOTS WITH HENRY LOUIS GATES, JR., nineteen celebrity guests will sit down with Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. to dive into their ancestral history and solve mysteries that have plagued their families when the series returns January 7 on PBS.

The Criterion Closet is going mobile. A new guest has just been announced for John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA. Richard Kind, comedian of the stage and screen, will appear as the announcer of the comedy special, which debuts on May 3. ​​​​​​​John Mulaney will explore the city of Los Angeles with his comedian friends in this upcoming Netflix special. Over the course of six live episodes, the comically unconventional show will feature Mulaney along with special guests and field pieces all shot in Los Angeles.
