Audible will present Underdogs: A Musical, a new Audible Original, starring Alan Cumming, Gaten Matarazzo, and Bebe Neuwirth. Set at the most prestigious performing arts high school in the world, the comedy follows four determined first-year students.

Feinstein's inside the Hotel Carmichael in Carmel will present Morgan James for two evening performances this March. James will take the stage on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28.

TheaterWorksUSA will present THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: LOST IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM at the MAC, offering a theatrical journey through space for family audiences.

The Drama League has revealed the 2026 Honorary Committee for the 92nd Annual Drama League Awards. The Awards Honorary Committee, still in formation, includes Bryan Cranston, Bebe Neuwirth, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Nathan Lane, and John Lithgow. 

The date has been set for the 70th Drama Desk Awards! The 2026 Drama Desk Awards will be held at The Town Hall on May 17, 2026. Learn more about the event here!

Morgan James will perform at Feinstein's at Hotel Carmichael on March 27. Morgan James is a Juilliard trained singer, songwriter, actress and recording artist in New York City.

Broadway's Leading Ladies, a live concert featuring some of the biggest stars in musical theater, will debut on PBS on November 28, 2025. Filmed live at New York’s Town Hall in March 2025, this star-studded concert celebrates the women who have defined Broadway and those who are shaping its future.

Dear Readers, if you’re a die-hard musical theater nerd like me, there are certain shows that just feel like a warm hug. A comfort show that you can go to (and have) over and over that just make you happy. For me, along with the likes of “Mamma Mia”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, and “Hairspray”, we have the Kander and Ebb classic, “Chicago”. I know it backwards and forwards (having worn out the CD of the Bebe Neuwirth and Ann Reinking revival) and I’ve seen it many times over the years, some with casts showing how the show can be amazing. I still remember Bianca Marroquín flooring me as Roxie. So, when the tour comes through town again, I say “yes please”. And while this was still my little slice of comfort food, and while some elements were fantastic, this production just missed that little something “extra” to make it sparkle.

A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, the world-renowned contemporary dance company driven by a mission to amplify Black culture and Queer stories through dance, honored visionary arts leaders Sarah Arison and Antwaun Sargent at its annual Homecoming Gala.
