Hartford Stage has revealed its 2026/2027 season with a lineup of six productions that span genres, generations, and styles, including gothic horror to holiday tradition, bold new work to enduring classics.

August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come and Gone has been extended, and will now play through Sunday, July 19. The production stars Taraji P. Henson, and Cedric 'The Entertainer'.

Actors’ Shakespeare Project will present Gem of the Ocean in Boston as part of its American Century Cycle programming. The August Wilson play will run at Hibernian Hall and conclude the company’s 2025–26 season.
