Jazz vocalist Allan Harris will return to the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on December 3, 2025, where he will perform music from his newest album A Poetry of Jazz alongside a selection of seasonal favorites.

The DC Jazz Festival returns August 27–31, 2025 with performances by NEA Jazz Masters, GRAMMY winners, and international stars. The five-day event culminates with a two-day finale at The Wharf over Labor Day weekend, featuring Marcus Miller, Lalah Hathaway, Branford Marsalis, John Scofield, Cécile McLorin Salvant, and many more.

The album, out on 7/11 from Blue LLama Records interweaves classic poetry with timeless music. We spoke with Harris about the new album, what’s coming up next for him, and more.
