Zakiya Young


Broadway: Stick Fly, The Little Mermaid (OBC), Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Off-Broadway: Storyville (AUDELCO Award Nomination), The Lightning Thief, Tenderloin. Regional: Familiar (Old Globe), Spamilton (Center Theatre Group), OPC New Works Festival, Disgraced (Goodman Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre), Good People (George Street Playhouse, Seattle Repertory Theatre), Aida (Starlight Theatre), White Christmas (Syracuse Stage), Little Miss Sunshine (La Jolla Playhouse), It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane…It’s Superman (Dallas Theater Center). She is the first and only black actress known to have played the iconic role of Lois Lane in any Superman project. Various film, tv and VO credits. Jeremiah 29:11.
