Victoria Rae Sook is a two time Drama Desk Award Nominee as the Artistic Director and Founder of Food of Love Productions. She is an actor, director/choreographer, dramaturge, and producer and has held all of those titles between the company’s two off Broadway shows. A proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, and an SDC Associate favorite shows include Drowning Ophelia, Romeo and Juliet, Legally Blonde, Grease, and Food of Love’s very own Shake & Bake: Love’s Labour’s Lost and Midsummer: a Banquet. She has worked in production at The Public Theater and is an active board member of Bristol Riverside Theatre where she offers her dramaturgy services. In the digital age of quarantine Victoria has choreographed a series of online dance pieces exploring physical versus social distance, has dramaturged/ set up virtual table reads for several new playwrights, and organizes weekly virtual Shakespeare readings. www.victoriaraesook.com @victoriaraesook

Bristol Riverside Theatre Presents THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP 

The mainstage season at Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) (120 Radcliffe  Street, Bristol, PA 19007) kicks off with the iconic Charles Ludlam comedy-camp-suspense-satire play The  Mystery of Irma Vep. The title is a nod to the 1915 French movie serial Les Vampires. Ludlam's cult  classic premieres on the BRT mainstage October 3 to 22.

Shake and Bake: Love's Labour's Lost, a production of Shakespeare's comedy that serves its audience an eight-course tasting menu as the play unfolds, will play its final performance on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Featuring direction by Dan Swern (The Eleventh Hour) and movement by Victoria Rae Sook (Grease), Shake and Bake: Love's Labour's Lost began performances on October 2, 2018 at a custom-built performance space at 94 Gansevoort Street (across from the Whitney Museum) and officially opened on October 13, 2018 for a limited run through January 6. At the time of its final performance, Shake and Bake: Love's Labour's Lost will have played 11 previews and 95 regular performances at 94 Gansevoort Street.
