Townsend Teague Biography
My first Broadway job was as a theatrical management intern in the producing and general management office responsible for "The Producers," the musical that holds the record for most Tony Awards wins, taking home 12 awards in 2001. I began 1-month after the show opened on Broadway and found myself decked out in a Tuxedo at Radio City Music Hall just 1-month after I arrived. It was the thrill of a lifetime. From there, I moved into roles in company management and general management, before opening a production company of my own to pursue producing full-time. I believe Broadway is a crazy business and most of its practitioners, by normal standards, are a bit eccentric -- and I love it.Townsend Teague Awards and Nominations
