The evening will honor Karl and Orfeh, who will be awarded the Humane Society of New York's Sandy Fund Award in recognition of their deep concern and support of the needs of rescued animals. The Award will be presented by Richard Blake, who co-starred with Orfeh and Karl in Legally Blonde, The Musical.

Participants must submit a new, original 5-minute comedic play with the title a?oeWho Are You?a?? based off a TOOTSIE song of the same title. The winner of the contest will receive a private writing consultation with Tony Award-winning book writer Robert Horn.

Earlier this year, on April 22, The Phantom of the Opera, reached a milestone that no other Broadway show has even come near. Phantom, the longest-running show in Broadway history, became the first Broadway show EVER to reach #13,000 performances. This is just one of many incredible achievements made by the show since it opened on Broadway over three decades ago.
