BIO
Timothy Seth Avett is one of the lead singers and founding members of the American folk-rock band The Avett Brothers. Avett sings and plays guitar, drums, bass, and piano for the band based out of Concord, North Carolina.
Seth Avett has released four albums under the moniker of Timothy Seth Avett as Darling.
Swept Away, a stage play based on the Avett Brothers' music, debuted on Broadway in the autumn of 2024. The Swept Away musical was scheduled to close in December 2024 after a short run on Broadway.

Review: THE AVETT BROTHERS at MAD Amphitheater in El Dorado

For my first time at the Murphy Arts District Amp in El Dorado, I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was certainly surprised when I saw the Avett Brothers on August 23rd. I enjoyed a leisurely walk up to the metal detectors, took a considerable amount of time emptying my pockets to go through them, and hilariously realized that I needed to go get my ticket from the box office, which was around the corner.

Berkeley Rep Extends Avett Brothers Musical SWEPT AWAY

Due to overwhelming demand from enthusiastic theatregoers in 42 states, Berkeley Rep has announced that the world premiere musical Swept Away will extend for an additional two weeks. Previews begin on Sunday, January 9 with the show originally scheduled to close on February 13.
